Pros

  • The Susvara Unveiled, however, seemed to sound a little less distant and dull.
  • The extended bass of the susvara unveiled lets bass be present with a foundation, but does not really draw attention to itself because it wants the speed of an e-stat in planar form. Susvara unveiled is very resolving, especially when so...
  • The susvara unveiled does put more emphasis on upper mids and lacks the treble spike around the 7 to 9khz like the HEKU has, which means there is a moderate intensity and spotlight to that upper mid region. It matches up with what I seen...
  • I got to try these in a quiet environment and they are amazingly natural sounding. A clear next level over my HEKU. The bass does get full enough for me with cellos and the music I like, probably not enough for hihop and edm enjoyers. Co...

Cons

  • The price tag is beyond absurd. They are good headphones but they aren’t THAT good.
  • The Susvara Unveiled, in particular, was a surprise. The original Susvara never did anything for me. The treble was tamer than an HE1000 or Edition XS, but everything below it sounded like sucking the soul out of music. I could hear musi...
  • The bass was still leaner than I'd like, but the treble finally didn't eviscerate my hearing.

The Susvara Unveiled, in particular, was a surprise. The original Susvara never did anything for me. The treble was tamer than an HE1000 or Edition XS, but everything below it sounded like sucking the soul out of music. I could hear music but nothing ever sounded like a convincing portrayal of music. The Susvara Unveiled, however, seemed to sound a little less distant and dull.

The extended bass of the susvara unveiled lets bass be present with a foundation, but does not really draw attention to itself because it wants the speed of an e-stat in planar form. Susvara unveiled is very resolving, especially when softer instruments or supporting instruments are very well represented in music tracks.

The susvara unveiled does put more emphasis on upper mids and lacks the treble spike around the 7 to 9khz like the HEKU has, which means there is a moderate intensity and spotlight to that upper mid region. It matches up with what I seen others say that the susvara unveiled is end game for female vocals.

I got to try these in a quiet environment and they are amazingly natural sounding. A clear next level over my HEKU. The bass does get full enough for me with cellos and the music I like, probably not enough for hihop and edm enjoyers. Consideration of amp pairing will matter for bass enjoyers. It's a deserving TOTL headphone at a crazy price. S tier tonality. S tier bass information. S tier sustainment to notes. S tier imaging - placement of instruments from one another.
