Well I thought that the HE1000 was the top of my audio experience.. I heard a lot of the LCD 2
I have the HE1000 it's interesting to hear the difference. I love classical music and rock and roll. Audiophiles, it's amazing to switch from one headphone to the other, how do you cope? it's a wonderful sound quality and experience
In terms of sound stage I actually loved the he1000v4 more than the hd800og not “wider” just more holographic also they have better dynamics and bass control in my opinion.
For example I use my HE1000 on Low gain around nearly Low to mid Volume setting and it still is loud around 60db.
I had major problems with HE1000v2 and it's the only thing that helped.
I just ordered HE1000 V2's hoping to experience something similar, a more pleasant experience than from my HD800's.
But, none of the newer stuff tends to last longer than 5 years unless it's an ultra expensive model like the Susvara or HE1000.
The he1000 was definitely better than the arya..
I’d agree with what Larry has already said, they’re a worthy end game. Out of the box they are clear and well tuned. Bass is hit or miss depending on song I’ve had “wow” moments.
