Pros

  • I've lost count of the number of times I have thought, "I'm so glad I have the Hero Clip because the hook is missing or damaged.
  • Wasted a bunch of money on heavy fashion bag clips before I found the Hero Clip.
  • Can’t deny that they’re expensive for what they are, but they’ve saved me from having to put my bag on the floor of a dirty bathroom many times over the years. There really isn’t any other solution I found that works so reliably when the...
  • There are two things you need to be part of this group. A Matador Flat Pak soap thingy. And a Hero Clip. Then you're one of us.
  • I use mine to create attachment points for a clothesline in places that are otherwise barren of points, to hold my water bottle on the seat back pocket on planes, to hang a jacket, to hang my pack on public transport to the handrail whil...

Cons

  • I have them on a couple bags and use them a lot, but really on when traveling or at events. Not really a day to day item but definitely something i like having in my bag. And personally I dont think it makes that bag of a carabiner.
  • Parent context: Tight clip. How often do you use the hero clip? I have one but I barely use it for hanging, and it’s annoying to use as a carbiner Reply: Yeah I thought the hero clip is a bit over hyped. I barely used mine too
  • It's going to be controversial just like the last time I said it but the hero clip
  • My knock on the hero clip has always been that it’s too expensive and solves a problem that *barely* exists. But here you’ve solved a problem that doesn’t exist **at all.**

I use mine to create attachment points for a clothesline in places that are otherwise barren of points, to hold my water bottle on the seat back pocket on planes, to hang a jacket, to hang my pack on public transport to the handrail while I fetch items from my pack, and countless other purposes. It comes in handy several times a day. It hurt when I bought it, but I have become a believer.

I bought this clip about 20 minutes before the photo was taken! I thought about it yesterday! Was tired of holding my hand out to stop the bag from tipping when I brake.
