Here to Slay

We played **Here to Slay** and we enjoyed it, easy and fast, perfect for beginners.

My niece (9) and nephew's (7) favorites are King of Tokyo, Dixit, Wilmot's Warehouse and Here to Slay.

kids that don't have experience with board games much more complex than Forbidden Island, Here to Slay, and Unmatched.

Here to Slay is a quick fantasy themed card game where you're attacking monsters. There is some definite "take that" interaction, so if you don't enjoy that, it's probably not the right choice.

Here to Slay does truly have Munchkin vibes but it does a pretty good job of limiting the take that and getting to the conclusion much faster. It's not my favourite game but it is sure a hit with the kids.

Here to Slay is a splendid example of a game that has ONLY enough rules to play it. It's so simple to learn, and yet there is decent strategy.

I think Slay basically does everything KoT does but better.

It is just the right amount of fun theme, light mechanics, and engaging gameplay that it's been all they've wanted to do for days. I don't know how well Valeria will go over, but as far as Slay is it's a great win for me.
