Half-Life 2

Pros

• And Half-Life 2 is great, really enjoyed the animations for the Dog >!(the good boi was so proud knocking the ground after murdering Combines with their own van)!< and each chapter adds a different flavor
• It was revolutionary in its Geo-Mod engine, one that allowed real-time unscripted destruction, affected by gravity before Half-Life 2 even came out with it's Source Engine and Havok physics.
• The Citadel from Half-Life 2. Also, beautiful architecture, towering, imposing, but we see very little of it during the actual game...
• This is not like the opening to Half-Life 2 where the intro being interactive let's you feel immersed in the apocalyptic environment.
• I suppose it is a point and click adventure but in first person with Half-Life 2 controls and interactivity.

Cons

• HL2 still holds up as a good game, but sorely lacks the refinements of the Episodes. ... The story here is nothing to write home about, but it's the gameplay and level design that drag this first act of the game down.
