Grenada, too!

Sevilla in Spain is beautiful or Grenada - good food, lovely culture, very relaxed.

my faves in the Eastern Caribbean would be Grenada, Bequai, Martinique, Puerto Rico/Vieques. St. Lucia is also popular for American tourists I feel like, with some good beaches, the Pitons for hiking. Dominica is supposed to have beautiful nature and hiking.

Another underrated option is Barbados or Grenada, they’re still Caribbean, but tend to get fewer direct hits compared to places like Jamaica or the Dominican Republic.

Best hikes are Montserrat, St. John USVI and Grenada.

Our family with three boys (14, 9, 8 when we went a few years ago) loved Grenada a couple of years ago. Great beaches, national park hiking, more varied scenery/topography and less touristy than Turks. Relatively cheap once we got there - we rented a house with a pool. Good food. Nice people. Chocolate farms/producers to visit.

Grenada is another one I'd throw in. St. George's has this really underrated charm, stayed in a small guesthouse overlooking the harbour and it cost less than a hostel in Barbados.
