In Malaga, definitely do a day trip to Granada.
For Granada, one night is fine if you’re not into museums or “must-see” sightseeing. You can just wander the Albaicín, enjoy tapas, and soak in the atmosphere without overplanning.
Granada is also amazing, especially with the Alhambra, but it’s a bit smaller — more like 2–3 days max unless you really want a slower pace.
An overnight in Granada is a shame. You need a very solid half day just for the Alhambra, and Granada has much more than that. Even more than Sevilla, it's wonderful for just strolling around.
It seems a pity to go about half way to Granada and not go to Granada.
