Pros

I love my 125x’s, picked them up at a store in Paris when I went on vacation. I wanted the 325x’s but didn’t have the budget but I’m more than happy with the 125’s, they are special little cans.
Using a simple 3 band PEQ on my Schiit Mimir via Forkbeard app, they’re suddenly competing with the rest of my headphones since the bass is quite good in stock.

Cons

I thought they had a unique texture feeling in the bass and had the best soundstage of the three, but mid comfort and many songs sounded aggressively harsh and I’d get tired of em quickly, so I often used em for audiobook listening.
When it comes to tonality with the Grados… oh boy. They‘re a train wreck. It feels like someone is stabbing my ears with how harsh the upper mids/ lower treble is. Nigh unlistenable for any genre other than hard rock where that kind of i...
But the comfort and build quality are still bad enough that I’m going to reach for HD800S or HD6XX 80% of the time.
