I use Google Keep, with an empty titled list pinned in my widget so I can just click on it and then add to that note. I even use the microphone on my Gboard to so I don't have to write and it actually covers the spoken words pretty accurately.
I know Google keep notes has a widget, but unfortunately how that works is there *is* a + sign to add a new note...but that's the issue. It creates a new note. And a new one. And a new one. And a new one. And a new one. I already know by the weeks end, I'll have 40 seperate entries flooding my notes app.
