Go (programming language)

Pros

• It took me a while to get into Go (definitely still learning), but it's been pretty incredible to be able to migrate my shell scripts over to Go with Cobra.
• i think Go is great，not just for writing backends.
• I love the simplicity of htmx and working with Go on the backend for state.
• Personally I'd use go, very efficient, easy to deploy. And in my experience go codebases tend to be well maintainable, it's very straightforward no-nonsense code.
• The blue they use is stellar.

Cons

• Used to own the moonphase one, but cannot get past the feeling that GO is kind of homage to ALS, then sold.
• I’ve been working with Go for the last 6 months or so, and honestly I don’t like it as much as I wanted to
• The GO is too thick imo. It’s a non starter. I would find the thickness acceptable but not ideal in a dive watch but not in a dressy watch without a large bezel.
• Like the big date more on the GO but I do prefer the indices of the JLC versus Roman numerals. But then again the GO seems to have a little more personality… ;)
• I have the go and only make milk drinks for myself. Not recommended if you want to make multiple milk drinks for guests
