Pros
- if you want a decent ex sherry, grab Bunnahabhain 12, Glenallachie, Glendronach, Tamdhu..
- You want sherry, Glenallachie, Glendronach, Bunnahabhain 12, Redbreast, Tamdhu, Macallan's sister distillery Glenrothes do it better for a fraction of the price.
- I've often had some Glendronach and occasional Abelour to counter the medicinal punch
- yes, as a bourbon enthusiast who mainly drinks weller and makers mark, i find it delightful that i actually enjoy some glendronach scotch
- this is a great whisky
Cons
- Very dark. Deeper even than aged Glendronach.

You could go for different bottles (Ardbeg 10 for peat or Talisker 10 for peaty and coastal, Glendronach or GlenAllachie 12 for tamdhu 12 and so on) but those are viable choices.
Glen Dronach is hands down I think my favorite.
Drinkable and not too expensive ;)
Haven't had a Glendronach I didn't like.
I liked every Glendronach I tried thus far
