George T Stagg 2025

I really wasnt super impressed with 25 on initial tastings but its grown on me a lot and now I wish I had a bottle of my own.

Rating: 9... The 2025 GTS was great, but not because of its proof. I’ve had 115 proof whiskey that drank hotter, and let’s not pretend anyone could tell the difference between 138 and 141 in a blind test.

2025 blew right past it as my favorite modern GTS. The tasting profile of this one is fruits and flowers; it is devastatingly beautiful.

Found a bar in the French Quarter that had this bottle for $45 a pour and i think the bartender over poured. It was delicious. A drop of water tamed down the heat and really opened it up

Paid a ton of money for it as well and absolutely love it. I’d do it again!

Then I got lucky enough last December to score this 2025 release locally (at a little mark up). Absolutely behemoth of a whiskey

Overall: this is exceptional. Like for real. BTAC's are always extremely overpriced due to demand, but this is a bomb of flavor. Sh*t, Stagg Jr is already really good and this is a heightened, elevated version of it on steroids. Do what you will with your own money, but I say f' it and pay the secondary if you can't get it cheaper. It's that good imo.

Love the 2025.
