- Genelec is technical, maybe cold, shrill highs I'm not pleased with even adjusted down on sound profiler. Genelec might have more 3D soundstage overall probably because the coaxial drivers. Genelec bass is a bit...flubby? Genelec shines...
- Personally not really a big fan of Genelec, we use them as standard monitors in the smaller OB Trucks and they have never really impressed me... To my ears (Important here is the "My Ears" part) the Genelecs have too much treble and too...
- Not silly little desktop-sized Genelecs, but a large pair of high-end monitors the price of a decent sports car.
- Don't tell me Genelecs look good until you see what Sonus Faber or Focal look like.

Genelec bass is a bit...flubby? Genelec shines on female vocals with searing laser locked center image with a very forgiving sweet spot if you move your head or chair. Genelec sounds like a movie theater, very cinematic with every little crisp detail

To my ears (Important here is the "My Ears" part) the Genelecs have too much treble and too much bass, sure that may sound really nice at first but after longer sessions (Let's say 2-5 hours) they become fatigueing to the point of a headache.

this thread is gonna be full of wild takes from people who have clearly never heard a good set of studio monitors in a treated room. (referring to, say, dutch & dutch 8c, or some big coaxial genelecs)
