Geek Love

Geek Love is one of my all-time favorites but I read it a lifetime ago.

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. It’s a nightmare tale of a carnival couple that use drugs and radiation to create their own “freak show” with their children.

I don't think anything else has given me the same heavy feeling as Geek Love when it really starts spiralling down and the macabre charm gives way to full on nightmare. Yet it never gets gratuitous or unserious. Brilliant stuff.

I love "Geek Love"; it’s a landmark of transgressive literature.

I finished the audiobook for Geek Love by Katherine Dunn today. The entire book was wonky and I loved it. It went in so many directions that I didn't expect it to go.
