Garmin Venu

Pros

• What I currently like about it is seeing my notifications, the weather, its touchscreen, and that I can track my cycling activities.
• Just got the Venu and I love it! Like the looks, and in terms of features it's not too different from a forerunner.
• If you’re not training for a specific event, the Venu will satisfy your needs and give you battery life over the Apple Watch.
• If you want a less sporty looking watch then a Venu is more of an Apple watch competitor.
• My boyfriend got the vivioactive and it doesn’t come with the deeper level training metrics like you reference. So I that or something like the Lily or venu could also be good options. They also - imo - a nicer appearance than the runnin...

Cons

• I'd also look at the Venu.
• Venu is really stripped down when it comes to sports and I don't feel like I'm getting a true Garmin experience.
• I briefly wore a Venu but that wouldn’t have survived me and my life so I sold it.
• I did switch to Venu a few years ago but I came back to AW I just couldn’t deal with the sloppy interface and the very poor iOS integration.
• Forerunner series is much better for sports than Vivoactive and Venu. They lack LTHR zones, detection, even max HR detection seems to be missing.
