Garmin Instinct 2

Pros

• instinct 2 for more battery.
• If you don't care about maps then I wouldn't switch, the screen and battery life on the Instinct 2 are great.
• I've got an instinct 2 and love it. Mainly use it for tracking walks and hikes, it's as good as bulletproof.
• I have used my instinct 2 for three years now and it is great. I can use it for work, camping etc. I run and have fallen and only a minor scratch after 3 yrs.
• I went for the MIP display because I really liked it on the instinct 2, you can almost always read it, exactly like a watch

Cons

• I'd suggest looking at the Forerunner 255, 265 and 570 and the 955 through 970; at the Instinct 2 and 3, and at the Fenix 7 if price is an object.
• My instinct 2 broke this morning after only 1 year. Just stopped working. The time is stuck at 2:30am and won’t respond too any buttons I press. So disappointed.
• I too didn't want to give up my nice analogue watch collection for my Instinct 2 so have settled on wearing my normal watch on my left wrist and my Garmin on my right.
• Making my instinct 2 feel inadequate
• Switched from the Instinct 2, and so far the FR165 has been great for workouts.
