Pros

  • I don’t run, so I didn’t pick that one, but I would like to have some of the training stats that hers has (and mine doesn’t). If I were to go back in time I’d get one of the forerunners.
  • my personal preference is the forerunner as for me they are the best looking for an everyday watch decent battery life à loads of different sports
  • I was surprised at how small it was. Its really not that different aesthetic-wise in comparison to the vivoactive IMO, it literally just has buttons. 100% worth it, especially given the features.
  • It is when I got the Forerunner and have zero regrets. Battery life, metrics, everything is great. My only complaint is that the syncing isn’t as fluid as it was on Apple Watch, you have to manually go into Garmin app and refresh to upda...
  • I’ve always been forerunner and never had any issues and do a lot of swimming, I don’t have experience with the others mentioned but forerunner has my full recommendation

Cons

  • the forerunner battery life is about half that of the others I was looking at with all systems on and the battery life reviews could be better because of the amoled screen.
  • I tried both for my Forerunner and found the case fogged up when I ran. The screen protector has been fine.
  • Like sometimes my Forerunner doesn't register sleep data, or shows very inaccurate sleep data, and then it tells me I need to wait "40 hours to recover," or something wild even though I slept fine and feel great.
  • If you just want it for only tracking activities, it'll be fine, you'll just miss out on a lot of features and will probably be disappointed.
  • Sleep tracking is arguably the most lacking feature on that watch.

I’m a woman so I ended up with the Forerunner because it has a slimmer profile
