Pros

  • I love my Enduro 3. The longest hike I've used it on so far was the Grand Canyon; 4 days. I used GPS the entire time we were moving and the map function anytime we questioned where the trail was. I still had 24 days of battery remaining...
  • Garmin absolutely nailed it with the Enduro 3. I'm glad you're enjoying yours as much as I'm enjoying mine. I've had it for about a month and a half.
  • With the Enduro 3, I just ran for 2 hours and the battery life went from 96 to 92%. The solar charging isn’t a gimmick anymore. Plus the additional data it provides is really interesting.
  • Upgraded from a Fenix 6 Pro to the Enduro 3 two days ago and all I can say is wow. I think the only flaw is that they don't make smaller versions for people with smaller wrists.
  • BUT - I just ordered Enduro 3 as an adition to my AWU3. ... The E3 is definitely a beast.

Cons

  • if you're in love with the AMOLED, I don't think you'll be fully satisfied with the Enduro 3.
  • I felt the Enduro screen was dim in the woods with map screen on
  • And I have also issues with the Gen 5 with my Enduro 3. It’s working well 70 to 80% of time but it’s far from being reliable and can often go crazy without any reason.
  • Parent context: That sounds solid for a real life situation example. But how’s your experience with the topo maps? According to a previous commenter, it has lag. If I understood them correctly Reply: It does have some rendering lag when...

In my opinion, the Enduro 3 is the best watch of all brands for Ultra-Trail running.

Cheaper than a Fenix and even cheaper than a Tactix, the Enduro 3 is the best in terms of battery life and weight.

I ran a 144km Ultra-Trail in 40 hours, using 40% of the battery with dual-band GPS (full systems activated), and heart rate monitoring. The solar charging is amazing (I was in the Caribbean).
