Friends (TV series)

Pros

• People use 'Friends' for learning English all the time
• I've heard that the show Friends is good for learning English.
• Now I am watching Friends in Italian.
• Try watching something you have see before in your native language that you enjoyed. But watch it in your TL. Like Friends, How I Met Your Mother, anime, whatever your interest…
• German also has good dubbing, so you can watch a show you're familiar with already (e.g. Friends) and see how they act it out in German (sometimes quite entertaining!).

Cons

• NBC paid Warner Bros. to make Friends. Friends aired on NBC. So it was an “NBC show”, even though neither NBC nor a subsidiary of their parent company actually produced the show.
• It's a 90s style sitcom like, "Friends" but for adult French students.
• I'm so old that I have all 10 seasons of Friends on Dvd, which I watch with French subtitles.
• when I tried Friends about everyday life, I was utterly defeated. That felt ridiculous at first, but now I guess it's fair enough since I mostly consume fiction stuff.
• tried couple eps of friends but didnt like it
