I’m a huge fan of forScore

ForScore is the de facto standard sheet music app. It has lots of features that you might want to use.

If you just want display of sheet music (without playback), ForScore is solid. It's basically a PDF viewer with features optimized for music, like integration with page-turning pedals.

For organization/tagging/displaying/annotating digital scores, ForScore is the app you want, nothing else comes close.

a 12.9inch iPad/tablet equipped with Forscore/equivalent software is great for building a digital music library.

Moving to forscore will dramatically improve things. Zero time looking through paper for a piece, because it’s searchable. Markings (apple pencil) are easily changed or hidden. It’s great.

people here swear by ipad pros and forescore though, which is a must

ForScore and AirTurn. Mine was the first gen., still going after 10 years hard use, and holds its charge for months.

Forscore is the app you want.

ForScore for iPad is really handy, and you can mark up the music with an Apple pen.
