3 - Flowers for Algernon - first book that made me openly weep. If anybody is ever looking for sci fi, or even if someone says they don’t generally like sci fi but are open to trying a novel from the genre, this is the first thing I recommend them. I don’t see how anybody could read this book and not be broken by it
