KA13 is semi ok, it hasn't received firmware update, but it only displayed artifacts at the start of the playback, and since a specific content played at specific volume is needed to make them audible, that is not really a concern for most people. I would however not buy it just on principle, and for the same reason I can't recommend it either.
The fiio I used before was ka13 and I was using it with an iem, then the power was not enough because I switched to the hifiman edition xse and I changed it with topping dx5II, in fact, the only difference is that it reflects the power of the headset, it is quite difficult to hear the very small sound differences.
