K11 has much more power, however the actual output clarity of it was not yet measured, and on paper vs measured M2 it seems to reside in similar level (any improvement should occur at higher output level than M2, so when you crank it up more than you could M2, and even then it should not be an audible difference).
As for the devices I haven't tried, the FiiO K11 I'm not sold on, due to 1. the device was not measured by community... 2. K11 runs on CS431xx chips which not only are actually slightly less performant than people think... it also has a bit more connectivity and a dedicated power input for those who might need it. So there is a niche for K11.
They have more than enough power. Just listen to the headphones and you’ll se for yourself.
Save a bit more for a Audio Technica R70xa or Sennheiser HD600 and the Fiio K11 for cheap or JDS Labs Element IV with intergreted PEQ.
I only owned the original K11 (quite lean and analytical).
The k11 I've also heard has qc issues.

I'd suggest neither, way too much power just for IEMs.
I kept these around 45 on my FiiO K11 and would go all the way down to 30 and still really enjoy them.
