Pros

  • I have a Fenix 7s right now and it works well.
  • Fenix 7s are on sale right now for not much more than the Venu 4 not sure the differences between the 7 and 8 but worth a look
  • Both Fenix 7s and fr 255s would be fine too i guess.
  • I have an Oura and a Fenix 7s. I only wear my garmin to bed if I need the alarm. It’s still necessary for all of my running/hiking/working out, so I consider it indispensable even though I rarely sleep in it!
  • It's great! I wish they had a 40mm version but I'm honestly used to the size now.

Cons

  • I now have the EpixPro2, previously had Fenix 7S.
  • I was rockimg Fenix 7S for a while, but swtiched to EPS 47... no regrets. The 42 got to after a while.
  • I am in the same boat (similar wrist, also looking at Fenix 7S or Epix 42mm)

I really have grown to like the suggested workouts and cues you get along the way. I know you can make your own steps, but I haven’t tried yet and I’m not sure it’s best for this. I’ve got a fenix 7s

Got my Fenix 7s right before the 8 week block and all of the stats have been quite insightful!
