Faraway

Another really great short game. The scoring system of moving backwards really makes you think about what you're playing and how you're gonna score cards that you play early. The sanctuaries are also so important. They really balanced this well.

We love Faraway! It’s such an easy game to pull out when we’re looking for a relaxing night. Gameplay has a good bit of strategy and its art is simple yet interesting and pretty.

Faraway plays quite well at two from my experience with it. Requires just a couple of decks of cards and there has been a surprising amount of strategy for such a small form factor. You only need space for 11 cards on the table for 2p so it's a very small footprint.

I would recommend looking at Wavelegth, Faraway, Cartographers, Trio, and Flip7.

I also recommend looking at Faraway, Planet Unknown, Cartographers as good games that can play 2-6 players.

**Faraway** has been my go to 1v1 game recently, but you can play with up to 6! It’s a tile placement game that’s super simple in rule set, but the actual decisions you make can get very thinky/crunchy

I would suggest Trio, Faraway, Tiny Towns, Sushi Go Party, and Heat: Pedal to the Metal.

Faraway. It's kinda crazy how often I see folks post looking for recommendations with a giant range of different parameters and somehow I always end up recommending Faraway, Flip 7 or Heat lol. Kinda makes me stop and realize what an awesome game it is.
