Pros
- Fantasy Life i is an example of a game where the DLC is generally compatible with a main game from a different region.
- I’m playing Fantasy Life i on PS5 in Japanese. I can see a word or phrase, type into Migaku, hit the magic AI button, and get a full featured flash card in like 60 seconds on my iPhone.
- Fantasy Life i is a fun game. You get missions but there is no rush to do them. I once spent several hours just fishing.
- Fantasy Life is amazing. I usually can't stand when games have any sort of survival or crafting elements, but I love Level 5 and I figured if I don't like it, my wife definitely will. I can't put the damn game down. It's excellent.
- I would recommend Fantasy Life first as it has a little bit of everything and it’s so, so easy to sink many many hours into it and I feel like it’s the most varied of all of them.
Cons
- for those recommending FL - yall forgot to mention it's a super grindy game. OP you'll def get a lot of hours out of it, i personally spent hundreds of hours on this game too - but that's because you'll have to grind so much.
- Parent context: this game sounded so fun, but it also looked like an endless gacha grind. Reply: It’s a grind but I wouldn’t call it gacha. There’s a large amount of gameplay variety here and imo it’s more akin to runescape x animal cros...
- I enjoyed fantasy life but I must say it is *highly* repetitive.
- Fantasy Life i sounds like it'll scratch all those itches. Be warned, though, it is highly addictive
- Fantasy Life i.

I highly recommend Fantasy Life as it has aspects of the other two games on your list and pretty much always has something you can do for side content. They just added a roguelite mode a few days ago as well so the replayability is pretty through the roof.
Fantasy life is really good and got free dlc last week, it’s a game that’ll keep you busy for a while
Fantasy Life was one of my favorite games this year. The writing was funny at times, and the gameplay is pretty addicting. You’re always 5-10 minutes from some milestone which keeps you hooked.
Fantasy Life might be a good fit here. It's very engaging and you can play as much as you want. ... It also supports cross-saves between Switch and Steam
