Exploding Kittens

Pros

• we LOVE Wits and Wagers, Balderdash, and more recently Fakin It. Also like Exploding Kittens.
• We are using lots of games but so far they have been limited to uno, trouble, chess, and exploding kittens... they'd have no problem reading in a game or making calculations for a move.
• already loved games by my group trio, skull , spicy , exploding kittens, saboteur
• I currently only have Exploding kittens/ chameleon/ Skull king/ ticket to ride (the base version, which I think is just the U.S) plunder-a pirates life and finally Catan. We have played all of these and enjoy all of them!
• When my kids were that age, they couldn't get enough of Exploding Kittens. It's the kind of game that tween boys have fun playing...

Cons

• The stuff I haven't liked in general has mostly been people bringing party games without much substance - things like Exploding Kittens and Throw Throw Burrito just feel gimmicky and annoying to me.
• Did play exploding kittens and it’s fun and light but wanted something with a bit more oomph
• My dads also a cheat and I haven’t found a good game out side of apples to apples but he won’t learn anything more complex then exploding kittens. Which he cheats at.
• Games that are more running jokes than actually a game - CAH, Munchkin, Exploding Kittens, Joking Hazzard, etc.
• The closest game I could find to this is Exploding Kittens, but for some reason I don't really enjoy that game. I think it's that there's significantly less cards?
