Well for -20°C, I would definitely stick with proven high end products and skip the Exped Ultra 6.5R as you would be pushing it bellow it's limits.

we're sharing a 2P pad (Exped Ultra 6.5R) and I don't think attaching it to a 2P pad works.
This pad is still a solid contender in its weight bracket and it's nice that they dropped 3-4oz and some volume off the old 5R.
