Exhalation

*Exhalation* and *Stories of Your Life* are excellent!

I love Ted Chiang's work. Exhalation captivated me from the eleventh word in. Each piece of his is so thoughtful and considered.

Exhalation was still the best book I read this year. I'm sorry. Maybe I'm a chud, stuck in my favorite genre. But it was a masterpiece.

After a few years, and unexpectedly, I found *Exhalation* and just bought it right away (just before a trip back home, I was in vacation). I remember reading the short story with the same name, *Exhalation*, in the plane. My god. What an incredible reflection on life observing itself, what an amazing way to write, what a story!

Exhalation caused literal goosebumps while reading it. I rarely reread books because im a heavy library user but I went out and bought Exhalation just to read it again.

I'll absolutely, unashamedly be picking up *Exhalation* next time I visit a bookstore.
