I never understood why people keep using the stupid large suitcases. I've travel around the globe with just a backpack that fits in many places. Carrying a lot of stuff makes travel just inconvenient. Now you are worrying and stressing instead of enjoying the travel.

I took the Eurostar from Paris to Brussels on the way. The train was fast and easy.
Eurostar then takes 2.5 hours to get to Paris, plus arrival around an hour before to check in. The station is nice for a bit of a stretch though, and Eurostar is great.
