Eureka Mignon Libra

After 6 weeks of frustration I bit the bullet and ordered a Eureka Mignon Libra to replace it that arrives tomorrow.

The Libra's grind by weight is flawless—in a year and maybe 1,000 pulls never one problem. (Except operator error. ;) Zero retention, but I'm sensitive to this coming from an Opus. And so fast—I can walk in, turn on the BB+, grind, tamp, and pull the shot in 60 seconds.

I have a Mignon, too, the Libra (grind-by-weight) is end game for me.

Nice upgrade, that Mignon Libra is a huge step up from a hammer-and-nail grinder. Zero point and the grind-by-weight make dialing so much cleaner

Have had the Libra for a little over 2 years now and I can't go back to single dosing. It's a work horse!

Upgraded from a hammer and nail conical burr to the Eureka Mignon Libra. Took a bit of tooling out of the box but got it going smooth, found zero point, and working to dial in. Noticeable difference in grinds and flavor out of the gate. ... The grind by weight function is amazing for workflow, exact dosage with the touch of a button!

I upgraded from an Opus to a Eureka Mignon Libra to solve retention (now basically zero) and also prefer the speed of grind-by-weight. It's faster, but also quieter, built like a tank, looks pro, and grinds better, too.

Eureka Mignon Libra together with a Silvia is a great combination. Easy workflow and built like tanks. Made in the EU.

Eureka is solid but more prosumer. If you want compact value, go Eureka.

Honestly for your setup the Eureka Mignon Libra sounds perfect - grind by weight will definitely keep the wife happy and it handles darker roasts really well.
