Pros

  • I’m a fan of Epomaker boards too.
  • You should check out Epomaker's website. They are making some really sweet looking and sounding keyboards.
  • I bought a V21 for a family member and they are happy with it.
  • I had the Epomaker model. It was the first board I got. It's not very easy to open but overall, I did like the board as an entry level keeb.

Cons

  • Still working well for me months later, but i did have another of their boards arrive DOA so it seems it’s a hit or miss with them.
  • The Epomaker factor most probably. It's indeed shitty they benefit from QMK's code and choose to breach the license for their own benefit
  • Do not buy Epomaker. See this post about Epomaker: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/196hreg/mykeyboard_thickthock_other_vendor_issues/
  • I read somewhere on here that epomaker isn't a respected brand, so while I absolutely love the keyboard, I'm concerned now as to whether or not these are the only quirks, or if i'm going to run into more trouble down the line.
  • After one week of use the PCB began to fail, I contacted with Epomaker, but too slow emails took 24h to reply, and they said repeatly to reset and reestablish firmware, too much problems for a new keyboard.
