• JLC has some outstanding timeless stuff. Not cheap but excellent value for what you’re getting
• Something similar goes for GS by the way… and JLC…

Cons

• JLCs price increases for the last half decade are absolutely criminal though tbh, over 50% from what I remember when I looked in 2023
• But the value you get for JLC is pretty awesome as well even if their design language is often muddled
• JLC is owned by richemont. it is very well known amongst enthusiasts that richemont after sales service is shit.
• Many brands of even high prestige (JLC) wouldn’t have close to this level of finishing until you got into the duometre range
• JLC is a great brand, but I've felt that their brand equity has been going down lately. They've also raised prices ridiculously lately. So not sure they provide the best value for money. Though the Polaris is great.
