I'm just getting into Endurance by Alfred Lansing, a historical account of Shackleton's Antarctic expedition and what they faced while trying to survive. It leans heavily into the actual journals and histories of the characters involved, so it almost feels like fiction.

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer and Endurance by Alfred Lansing are non-fiction survival stories that both had me completely engrossed. I could not put either one down once I started.
