Embark

Pros

• I used Embark on my two rescues.
• Embark is most reputable/reliable.
• Embark is top with wisdom is close behind. They are really the best to consider.
• Embark. The health results are well worth it.

Cons

• Parent context: Her site shows embark and says DNA and health testing. I don’t think she does OFA. Reply: What kind of dna health testing, specifically? This can give you clues as to whether she's legit.
• But Embark says my Boxer mix is 95% Boxer. I actually met both her parents. Her dad was a Boxer but her mom was a mixed breed who looked nothing like a Boxer.
• Embark told me that my likely cojack (corgi/jack russell) was 1/2 jack russell, 1/3 newfoundland, and the rest was cattle dog. However, the corgi is the most obvious part--and there is nothing to indicate newfoundland.
• Everyone will recommend Embark but I actually prefer Wisdom. I tested 2 dogs with both tests. Embark was not accurate at all for me. I was really upset and even tried reaching out to the company and they blew me off.
