Eldritch Horror

Games I Own and Like: Eldritch Horror, Arkham. We like that mix, there is randomness and dice rolling but also some story/narration.

Eldritch had the most classic Mythos feel of the ones mentioned. Running around, getting clues, unlocking the story as you go. A great game, but the longest playtime on the list. That said, the replayability is off the charts.

I would agree that Eldritch Horror is the easiest to understand and I’ll never turn down an offer to play it.

Most replayable is probably Eldritch, which is all about emergent narrative and has a ton of randomness. The biggest downside for replayability is that it is quite long and can start getting samey once you've seen all the cards. The expansions help with that.

Eldritch Horror is my wifes favorite game and we have over 200 plays. So replayability wise it is a fine choice.

for multiplayer I’m getting Heat: Pedal to the Metal, Horrified, and Eldritch Horror.

Eldritch Horror is one of my favourite games, it works so well with gamers and more casual people. Simple mechanics and great themeing

The best board game for when you want an epic Lovecraft game where you can travel the world and stop it from ending. It needs at least one expansion on the base game to make sure the different decks are seeded with options, but I love the smaller little adventures

I also have a soft spot for Eldritch Horror... It's more of a "beer & pretzels" game where you go on a globetrotting adventure with some friends: Find items, encounter monsters and read a lot of story cards
