it absolutely doesn't justify $1000 price difference. Then you get nickle and dimed for everything the Bianca already comes with. If you want wood accents (that the Bianca already has), you're going to pay an extra $400. If you want the option to plumb the machine, they want an extra $5 lol. If you want a bottomless portafilter, you're paying an extra $150. Also, flow control on the ECM is an add-on I believe.

Currently hovering over (because I'm embittered by constant Breville repairs) an absolutely bomb proof ECM Synchronika II paired with a Eureka Atom W 65.
I vote for the Synchronika II. I had a Brecille that was a handful of years old that started to leak. Did some research and went the ECM route. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I’m happy so far.
Then, I considered the ECM, but it didn’t come standard with flow control, and I knew I didn’t want a stainless steel colored machine again.
If I had more dollars I'd go straight to the ECM Synchronika II or Profitec DRIVE.
