Dyson Ball Animal 3

Pros

• Check out the Miele C3, Riccar R27, R30 or Dyson Ball Animal 3.
• Last year it was time to upgrade from a cheap but fully sealed bagless to a nicer one and since there was a sale I bought a Dyson Ball Animal 3. It was the best vacuum I've found to use for carpet cleaning.
• Costco and Sams Club often run a sale on the Dyson Ball Animal 3+ for 279. It's really one of the best out there and absolutely can't be beat for the price. There are issues with Dyson having parts on hand, but you can find parts on ebay...
• the Ball Animal 3 is on sale if you have a Costco membership (it’s under your budget there). Probably one of the best bagless options out there.
• I’d look into the Sebo Felix if you can swing $800. If not,maybe the Dyson Ball Animal 3. It seemed to get pretty good reviews when I was doing my research and is in your budget.

Cons

• One is a Ball Animal 3 that we use on bedroom rugs. All of them we’ve done regular maintenance on and take good care of but find that we’re still very unhappy with the effort it takes for them to pick up the dog hair.
• For $280, the Dyson is an OK choice. I don’t think they’re made super well and have creaky plastic that can break easily but they’re not awful.
