Dublin might be worth a shout, you can get a small flight from Liverpool. Definitely lively, Temple Bar area is a bit of a rip off just because of its name/ area but there are loads of pubs and lots to see and do.

I did 11 days in Ireland a couple years ago and spent that entirely in Co. Galway, Connemara, Co. Mayo, one of the Aran Islands, and a couple requisite days in Dublin due to the flights. You could do more, sure, but it would start to get rushed.

I loved Dublin, I’m chronically ill with autoimmune diseases and have some mobility issues. Everywhere was super accommodating and there is so much to do for people who can’t get around much. We even went on a tea party bus tour to see some site while enjoying tea and scones. I could live on scones with lemon curd
Dublin and Amsterdam were so walkable it was amazing. We enjoyed walking and had no issue spending our days walking our itinerary.
