Drupal
Reddit take
Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.
Pros
- I've worked as a software engineer for many large enterprise SaaS companies and guess what they use for their brochure sites? Wordpress, Drupal, etc.
- On the plus side, the current versions of Drupal are really nice these days.
- There is a value in knowledge and I still see a lot of Drupal jobs out there
- Say what you want about Drupal, but that kind of low maintenance stability caught me off guard.
- If it's a web app, you could build out these features in a CMS like Drupal or Payload and all the CRUD and security etc would be done already.
Cons
- Left partly over concerns about speed and security, yet here it was.
- Drupal I'm not a fan of, but some people like it so that one's up to you as my experience is limited there.
- Does it make sense to use Wagtail (a Django CMS), Drupal, Wordpress in api mode?
- My journey went from absolutely not knowing anything to cms like wordpress, then drupal but realized that's not going to cut it to create what I wanted.
