Pros
- Worth noting the pre-order bonus advertised is available separately for $2.99. Absolutely love to see that (Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero did the same, as well)
- it actually looks incredible on both, so happy we finally have a budokai tenkaichi game on switch ☺
Cons
- The thing that put me off to the game was the fact that literal stronger characters from the anime were in fact significantly stronger and that made the game more about picking the strong characters than skill. I got annoyed at the overp...
- I bought the Switch 1 version, but play it on a Switch 2. I wanted this game portably so badly when it first came out, and granted there are definitely concessions made to run on Switch 1, and the capped FPS on both 1 and 2 are kinda lam...
- Shitty late port of a game that’s been abandoned even on other platforms, released with none of the issues fixed.
- this game is a example of a lack of optimization for a console
- Someone who bought the PC version of this game, It's not worth the 60 to 70 bucks. Playing online and you'll be fighting nothing but Goku MUI, Gogeta Blue, and Vegito Blue for 90% of the time. This on top of the lacking in Single Player...

I bought the Switch 1 version, but play it on a Switch 2. I wanted this game portably so badly when it first came out, and granted there are definitely concessions made to run on Switch 1, and the capped FPS on both 1 and 2 are kinda lame, ***but*** that's a price I'm willing to pay to play this game on the go. And, if you don't particularly mind all of that, it's a very fun time if you're looking for spectacle and intense combat with fun what-if scenarios thrown in.

If anything can get away with it its an arena fighter - I'd still recommend getting it on sale elsewhere though, but if your only option is on switch locked 30fps no drops might suffice for an arena fighter - atleast casually.
Dawg it's running at 810p on switch 2 docked + handheld we should hope the game functions at all 🙏
The performance on the Switch 2 version seems pretty underwhelming.
