Pros
- Day four: Find a specific town to travel to in Donegal. Explore the area by foot or bus??
- I’d spend 2 nights in Belfast, 1 in Derry, and 1 in Donegal for a smoother trip.
- It also would give you a lot more freedom in Donegal where bus options are less efficient to get to those scenic gems.
- The scenery there is amazing, with gorgeous cliffs and beaches. You can go out to Malin head, or over to Fanad Head lighthouse, or many other places.
Cons
- Kerry and Donegal are both amazing, so whichever you choose I think you'll have a great time. ... but since you'll have a car, you'll also be fine in Donegal. Donegal will be less touristy, though.
