Absolutely not. There are loads of people trying to rebook their previously scheduled flights through other hubs that are not Doha and Abu Daubi (and that is why the other routes are so expensive) because flying through there is extremely risky. Now is not the time unfortunately.

I actually quite enjoy Doha. I'd leave the airport. you could even just do it yourself. All locations mentioned are fairly close to each other and reachable by metro from the airport.
MMW, one of these passenger planes is going to get shot down. I think these gulf airlines are being way too risky. When the US killed Soleimani, Iran shot down a passenger plane leaving Tehran filled with Iranians. Especially with the lack of military commanders, a lot of these Iranian troops are operating by themselves with limited radar and intelligence. Even if it's not intentional shootdown, I don't think it's safe to fly anywhere near the gulf.
I have a layover at Qatar when coming home. If I go outside, I might go to Souq and walk in corniche. Do you think it's worth it or doable?
