Pros
- Detroit Become Human is awesome.
- Detroit Become Human and Until Dawn are the best offerings in the genre imo
- I enjoyed my time with it but the story felt too obvious for me. ... Memorable characters and great world building. Would welcome a sequel.
- This game blows games like the Walking Dead straight out of the water and shows them what a true choice-matters game looks like. Not only that, but its original and compelling story is more relevant today than ever.
- Detroit Become Human
Cons
- Played it with a couple friends and enjoyed it but found the writing pretty juvenile. They acted like society had never considered that androids might deserve rights but we're literally already taking about sentience just with LLMs.
- this game has an embarrassingly white centrist view of how liberation movements work. It's a game about race that doesn't understand why racism is wrong, and it's a game that shamefully pulls from real civil rights movements without unde...
- Respectfully, I disagree largely because I find the core theme of the game to be flawed. ... The game consistently and repeatedly compares the struggles of racial minorities to the androids but this misses that androids are fundamentally...
- I think the shallow opening scenes of this game pretty well encapsulate the rest of the game. ... Completely lacking in nuance.
- I goy it from Playstation Plus at some point and I just couldn't stand the storyline after a while. It dragged on way too long, while it was an interesting idea the longer it went on it only raised more problems.

this game has an embarrassingly white centrist view of how liberation movements work. It's a game about race that doesn't understand why racism is wrong, and it's a game that shamefully pulls from real civil rights movements without understanding the ugly realities of them either.
Respectfully, I disagree largely because I find the core theme of the game to be flawed. ... The game consistently and repeatedly compares the struggles of racial minorities to the androids but this misses that androids are fundamentally different from humans
I think the shallow opening scenes of this game pretty well encapsulate the rest of the game. ... Completely lacking in nuance.

lol the dialogue option roulette is pure david cage. pick 'kindness' and your character goes full villain. still a great ride though
At some points, it gets frustrating because the dialogue option doesn't do a good job at all describing what your character is going to actually say. ... I loved the story tree that displays all the possible paths that could have happened. Gives a unique twist to storytelling and nicely adds to the replayability value
I enjoyed my time with it but the story felt too obvious for me. ... Memorable characters and great world building. Would welcome a sequel.
