For what it’s worth our experience with Delve has been solid with which we're still in contract. I’m not a compliance expert at all fwiw but the step by step guidance made it clear what actually needed to be done and their team was super responsive whenever we had questions. Their integrated AI bot into slack is extremely helpful because you can just ping it and it'll provide you with an answer right away

Tools that force you to map governance risk controls help a bit. Delve has been good for that since it pushes you to tie policies, risks, and evidence together instead of treating Annex A like a checklist.
Solo founder in fintech here and have used Delve for SOC2. It's easy to get started and really helps a tiny team get audit ready. You still need to create some policies and gather evidence but for a single-person LLC, it’s a solid way to clear the initial compliance hurdle.
We were in the same spot before our first stage 2 and having all the evidence in one place and double checking the mappings was a big help we use Delve so most of that was already organized for the auditor and the walkthrough ended up being way less stressful than we expected.
We use Delve for our ISO setup and it handled the what needs a policy vs what just needs evidence part for us
