Daybreak

Nice to see someone else with Daybreak! I just bought it for my wife and I this Christmas, along with Spirit Island. Both games are great.

Daybreak is not as much gonna give you the feel of taking down a boss together, but I like the game a lot and it blends the Pandemic style of dealing with a situation that can spiral out of control with tableau building and melding your cards.

will add daybreak as another great co op rec

**Defenders of the wild** is a good recent release as well as **Daybreak**.

Daybreak is a cooperative stack-building game. Theme is very modern and realistic, though, so that might not be the biggest turn-on. Sets up quickly, especially if you have a good way to sort your emission sources.

Daybreak is maybe my favorite single session co-op game. Plays 1-4 players, is quick and snappy, and it has simultaneous turns while encouraging cooperation and aid.

At 3 players, I particularly enjoy some co-op games like Marvel Champions and Daybreak.

You might like Daybreak — though it’s about climate change and you will spend a lot a lot of time losing hence thematic I guess!

I currently own Sky Team and recently picked up Spirit Island and Daybreak. Really loving these three

I've really been enjoying Daybreak recently, its harder for there to be a team captain because the gameplay is ever so slightly asynchronous because each country has different needs to meet the team goal.
