Craft Sequence

I haven't read the entire series, but the Craft Sequence by Max Gladstone totally fits

Strange: the Craft Sequence. In a world where souls are currency and the global economy is run by deities and undead CEOs, a couple of warlock forensic accountants investigate a fire god's untimely death by bankruptcy.

I don’t think the Craft Sequence goes any bigger.

Craft Sequence by Max Gladstone This is a fun one where power runs on souls we we follow people that work with contracts like lawyers, risk analysts, and priests.

Max Gladstone's Craft Sequence - I can't recommend these enough. It's a really fun and interesting world, and there's only really romance in the second book. It's very diverse.

Craftsmen in Max Gladstone's Craft Sequence are basically lawyer-necromancers, and they actually do "normal" necromancy things instead of doing the whole "moral necromancers focus on destroying undead instead of creating them" thing

Max Gladstone's Craft Sequence both have highly developed necromancy; in thr latter case, whole economies are built on it

Some male authored books that I thought wrote women well - Craft Sequence by Max Gladstone

Check out the Craft Sequence (first book: Three Parts Dead), by Max Gladstone. Its magic is either necromantic or religious but is ultimately based on/structured like US corporate law, so there’s definitely some very clever fantasy econ going on in there.
