Pros
- I have the coway airmega and it’s been great with the wildfire smoke as well as just regular everyday stuff.

- I've got the. Conway Airmega. It's super quiet after it's done it's job filtering the ambient air in the house, except when pollutants enter the home and then it ramps up (such as happened recently with the wildfire smoke here).
- We have a Coway Airmega that has been great this week living in Michigan
- Coway airmega. But you can also DIY a corsi-rosenthal for less money if you can tolerate more noise.
Cons
- I have had the Coway AirMega for two months. Huge mistake in my opinion.
- I also have a coway airmega I’ve been using it for almost a year now. I feel like a zombie wrapped in saran wrap when I wake up in the morning.
- I felt awful after running the air purifier at 2 speed all night. Coughing a lot.
- I currently have a Coway Airmega and I'm looking for the best in VOC capture while keeping to HEPA standards, and high performance with smoke.

I worked on a project where we tested them and the Coway Airmega was the only one that exceeded all benchtests. I bought 2 for my house. Wirecutter site tested the Coway for 1 year straight never turning it off and it surprised them that it still ran fine.

Ive also had 2 coway airmega's running for about 10 years. Change the filters when it says they need changing and that's it. I also vacuum the pre filter out when changing out the hepa and carbon filters I was skeptical when I bought them but they do help and have also helped reduce dust levels/
Coway Airmega.
Have you thought about Coway Airmega? The ionizer is on board, but it's of by default. It will be also more efficient in terms of CFM, while being also quieter. On the other hand - it will have more expensive filters
Coway air mega, comes with ionizer, but by default it’s off
