Coway Airmega 1512

Pros

• I’ve got a Coway 1512 that gets used when the air gets really bad
• Coway 150 or 1512 are good.
• For the same money you can get a real HEPA purifier, like the Coway 1512.
• The Coway 1512 is probably the most balanced option at the moment. It's optimal for up to about 300 square feet. If you need to cover more space, buy multiple 1512s instead of one big unit, as it's less expensive and more effective.
• I’m loving what I’m seeing about the coway 1512, already bought one for my bedroom.

Cons

• Alternatively the 1512 is good but has very little carbon, as do the BlueAir units.
• Consumer Reports rates the 1512 at 57 and the other tested models at under 60 where the top rated Coway model gets an 85.
• There is a single Coway model with an ionizer which defaults to off. It’s the 1512. No other Coway has an ionizer.
• I previously purchased a Coway 1512 but am unsure if this is sufficient. It seems to meet the minimum CADR rating but I know that only applies when it’s on high.
