Costa Brava

the small towns along the Costa Brava were so refreshing and beautiful.

where i'm from (eastern Spain) we have an area called Costa Brava, there's plenty of beautiful towns (Tossa de Mar being an example) and secluded beaches. there's a well known town where many foreigners come to party (Lloret de Mar). You can drive along the coast between different towns (my personal favourite is the road that goes from Sant Feliu de Guixols to Tossa de Mar, specially at sunset, the views are just *chef's kiss*), and there's one where you have to walk between Llançà and El Port de la Selva that's also extremely beautiful.

If you ever decide to come I'd recommend you take at least a week to explore the whole area (Costa Brava) we have so many beautiful towns.

For instance, if you want to see the seaside, you can easily get to Sitges from Barcelona, or even to the Costa Brava, which is a bit farther away.

If you liked Málaga, you might also enjoy the Costa Brava in Spain. It has that same mix of beautiful coastline, small towns and great food, but many places are a bit quieter and sometimes cheaper than the most famous Mediterranean spots.

Desde Barcelona, si tengo un fin de semana largo, mi opción número uno en verano es siempre la Costa Brava. Nos encanta perdernos por las calas de Begur o ir a la zona de Lloret de Mar (donde, por cierto, es muy fácil encontrar un hotel familiar, que nos va genial para desconectar cuando vamos con los niños).
